Looking for something to read? Let me help.
As a journalist, I’ve sat with county commissioners as they worked out new millage rates in the wee hours, loitered in courtroom hallways waiting on a verdict and talked to people in, and from, every walk of life. My job is to get, and tell, the story.
As a writer, I have a lot of power. What gets said — words, tone, context — is up to me. Whether it’s a piece on a 104-year-old gentleman who carves rolling pins or one of my 5 (and counting) unfinished books, every syllable matters.
As a reader, I’m a fool for the printed word. I’m grudgingly accepting e-readers, because how people read is less important to me these days. I just want them reading. Knowledge is power, and words are how you get there.
Enough of this prattle. Please see samples of my work on the following pages, as well as my feeble attempt at a blog. (If you find the blog to be a rant, please let me know. I’ll be tickled pink.) Like what you see? Make contact using the snazzy, if utilitarian, form below and let’s see what we can do together. (Want to beat the middleman? Ring my chimes at email@example.com.)
